Brewing Kratom for Energy Drinks: Traditional vs Modern Methods
The traditional way to consume kratom in Southeast Asia is brewed as a tea. Modern methods include cold-extraction, smoothies, and energy drink blends. Each preserves different amounts of the active alkaloids. Here's the comparison and the recipes.
Traditional Tea Method
The classic kratom tea recipe used by Thai and Indonesian workers for centuries:
- Bring 500ml of water to a gentle simmer (not full boil โ heat destroys alkaloids).

For pre-workout or all-day energy mix:
